Deloris Lucille Wright

Ms. Deloris Lucille Wright, 76, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Friday, March 7, 2014 in Chase City. Ms. Wright was born in Mecklenburg County, VA May 29, 1937 to the late James P. and Emma Williams Wright. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. Ms. Wright moved to Yonkers, NY at the age of seventeen; while living in New York she was employed as a nurse at The Jewish Guild of the Blind, and also as a Teacher’s Aide. Cherishing her memories are six children, Peggy Arrington Hayes, Annette Arrington and Ricardo Arrington all of Chase City, VA; Allen Walter Arrington Jr. and Nathaniel Arrington of Yonkers, NY and James Albert Arrington of Richmond, VA; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Ms. Deloris Lucille Wright will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2014 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr. officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.  Services 2:00 P.M.
