Delores Mae Toone

Mrs. Delores Mae Toone, 62, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Toone was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on May 4, 1958 to the late James Tucker Davis and Wilma Irish Davis Bennett. She received her education in the public schools of Mecklenburg County, VA. At an early age, she accepted Christ, joining Trinity Episcopal Church in South Hill, VA where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Toone was a hard worker; she worked on the family farm and was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 46 years, John E. Toone of Boydton, VA; three children, Adam E. Toone, Trisherl M. Toone and Robert A. Toone all of Boydton, VA; granddaughter, Micalah Hayes; two sisters, Susie A. Hicks of Blackstone, VA and Irish “Mint” Windless (Sammy) of La Crosse, VA; three brothers, Roger Lee Davis (Laura) of La Crosse, VA, Curtis l. Bennett (Jeri) of Chesterfield, VA and Kevin L. Bennett (Sylvia) of South Hill, VA, and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside services for Mrs. Delores Mae Toone will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Andrews Richardson Toone Family Cemetery, Hendrick-Crow Rd, Boydton, VA with Rev. Sharon Baskerville officiating. Public viewing will be held on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a mask will be required for all viewings and services. We ask that you adhere to all guidelines, and practice social distancing. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
