Delores Carolyn Thomas Miller

Mrs. Delores Carolyn Thomas Miller, 81, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Miller was born in Chase City, VA August 16, 1938 to the late Edward H. and Carrie Thomas. She was a 1957 graduate of West End High School in Skipwith, and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Chase City. Mrs. Miller was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked at United Presbyterian Hospital, Newark, NJ. In her spare time, she was an avid reader, gardener and cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Thomas Miller and three siblings, Edith Tucker, Clarence Thomas and Gertrude Sands. Cherishing her memories are four brothers, Tyree Vincent Thomas and Ronald Thomas (Darlene) all of Linden, NJ, Alvin Thomas (Joyce) of Clarksville, VA and Alfred Thomas of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
