Delores Antwanette Pulliam

Mrs. Delores Antwanette Pulliam, 44, of Boydton, VA exchanged time for eternity on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, VA. Mrs. Pulliam was born in Durham, NC on August 22, 1977 to Wayne Harris and Patricia Branch. She was a graduate of Northern Vance High School in Henderson, NC. Mrs. Pulliam furthered her education, attending Strayer University, Vance-Granville Community College and Fayetteville State University, earning her Bachelor’s degree. She was presently employed by Warren County Public Schools as an accountant, and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, dancing, and playing cards. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Daniel Pulliam, Jr. of Boydton, VA; two sons, Raymon Wright of Henderson, NC and Kyree Pulliam of Boydton, VA; two daughters, Emonee Glover of Fayetteville, NC and Ashley Pulliam of Boydton, VA; five grandchildren; her parents, Charlie Hargrove of Wilmington, NC and Patricia Mayo of Henderson, NC; three brothers, Charles Hargrove and Sterlin Skipwith both of Henderson, NC and Wayne Harris, Jr. of Durham, NC; three sisters, Miranda Hargrove of Henderson, NC and Deniseca Holloway and Michelle Harris both of Durham, NC; her grandparents, Charlie Hargrove, Sr. (Vergie Lee) of Henderson, NC and Alice Logan of Boydton, VA, two sisters-in-law; ten nieces, four nephews, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside services for Mrs. Delores A. Pulliam will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA with Elder Kenyatta Evans officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A mask will be required for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
