Mrs. Debra Sheree Mosley Bruce, 46, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, February 6, 2017 at VCU Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mrs. Bruce was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on November 1, 1970 to the late Robert L., Jr. and Frankie Mosley Oliver. She received her education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools and at an early age joined Greater Union Baptist Church, Chase City. Mrs. Bruce was formerly employed by Walmart, Inc. as a cashier. Cherishing her memories are her husband, Joseph Bruce, Jr. of Chase City, VA; seven children; Shakema Oliver, Shannon Watts (Rashawn), Shanelle Fritter (Garry), Trey Bruce (Dominique), Tavon Bruce, Tevin Bruce and Taveon Bruce, all of Chase City, VA; 10 grandchildren; sister, Debby Mosley of Chase City, VA; brother, Terry Bowers (Tina) of Lacrosse, VA; mother-in-law, Evelyn Hamlett (Eugene) of Lunenburg, VA; brother-in-law, James Bruce of Boise, ID; sister-in-law, Mary Bruce of Richmond, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Debra Sheree Mosley Bruce will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Sands, officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday, February 10, from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
