Dean Olivia Salley

Miss Dean Olivia Salley, 69, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, April 17, 2020. Miss Salley was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on December 15, 1950 to Mary Endia Thompson Salley and the late Ollie L. Salley, Jr. She was a 1969 graduate of West End High School, and was a member of Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Dr. Linda D. Salley. Cherishing her memories are her mother, Mary Endia Salley of Chase City; two sisters, Christine Woodson (Melvin) of Chase City, VA and Celestine Brooks (Leroy) of Red Oak, VA; two uncles, Thurman Salley (Irene) of Chase City, VA and Amos Sally (Laura) of Yonkers, NY; three nieces, Tonya Salley-Goodwin, Siobhan Richardson, and Michelle Yancey all of Richmond, VA; one nephew, Juwan Brooks, three great-nephews, one great-niece, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
