Dashawn Rashaud Hargrove

Mr. DaShawn Rashaud Hargrove, 20, of Alberta, VA entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Mr. Hargrove was born in Durham, NC June 19, 2004 to Ronald Hargrove and Marsha Shearin. He attended Park View High School in South Hill, VA. DaShawn was an employee of the Waffle House. In his spare time, he enjoyed rapping, video games and basketball.

Mr. Hargrove was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wayne Shearin, Jr. and Victor Meadows.

Cherishing his memories are his fiancée, Tah-Neesha Cleaton; his daughter, Danielle Seward; mother, Marsha Shearin; father, Ronald Hargrove; brother, Quamayne Hargrove; grandmothers, Lydia Shearin and Joanna Hargrove; five uncles, Dale Shearin, Calvin Hargrove, Ricky Spain, Jr., Darius Hargrove, and Dontavious Hargrove; three aunts, Ashley Davis (Omonto), Jolene Shearin (Joshua) and Claudia Hargrove; special cousins and friends, Estefania Shearin, Landen Shearin, Andrew Beard, Josiah Coleman, Jr., Kayla Evans, Tori Evans, Javeon Coleman and Ayahnacee Russell-Jones.

Funeral services for Mr. DaShawn R. Hargrove will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2024 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Minister Omonto Davis, officiating. Burial will follow in Free Union Church Cemetery, Bracey, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will begin on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M.
