Darlene Tucker Williams

Mrs. Darlene Tucker Williams, 61, of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Williams was born November 22, 1962 to Irene Smith Tucker and the late William E. Tucker. She received her education in the Richmond City Schools. She entered the workforce at an early age, and spent most of her life bartending, working as a chef, and in security. Darlene enjoyed life in the company of her loving family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William E. Tucker, Jr. and Calvin Wayne Tucker; two sisters, Brenda and Diane Tucker; three aunts; Madeline Smith, Helen S. Haskins and Eva S. Gayles; and a brother-n-law, Jay Park Teele.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, James (Jimmy) R. Williams, Jr.; two lovely daughters, Paris Harris and Tiffany Harris; three grandchildren, Zhaunvieve-Amaya Fenner (MiMi), Mico Drew (Teddy) and Kourtney “KJ” Kenion (Duck); her mother, Irene Smith Tucker; two sisters, Irene Tucker McNeal (Rudy) and Linda Teele; five aunts, Annie Tucker, Ella Jean Puryear, Ruby Williams, Dr. Carolyn Burwell (Fredrick) and Deborah Jones (Lloyd); three nieces, Diana (Muffball), Latrice (Trice) and Shamika; seven nephews, Larry (Buff), Mario, Chip, Chris, Donnie, Jason and Dominique, and a host of loving cousins and caring friends.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Dennis King officiating. Public viewing will begin on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
