Dale Deland Davis

Mr. Dale D. Davis, 56, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. Mr. Davis was born in South Boston, VA July 18, 1964 to the late Frederick D., Sr. and Scarlett O’Hara Mangum Davis. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and a member of Second Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA. Mr. Davis was previously employed with Freightway Express, Inc. His hobbies include drag racing and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kendra Delana Davis. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sharon Hargrove Davis; brother, Frederick D. Davis, Jr. of Clarksville, VA; sister, Brenda L. Davis of Clarksville, VA; sister-in-law, Janet Robinson; brothers-in-law, Fielder C. Liggon, Jr. and Christopher Watkins, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Glenn Faulkner, officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will be on Friday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A mask will be required for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by C.H.
