Mr. Curtis Franklin Glenn Jr. (CJ), 25, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 26, 2019. CJ was born April 12, 1994 in South Hill, VA to Curtis, Sr. and Diane Glenn. At an early age he was baptized at St. Louis Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House, VA. CJ was a graduate of Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA, and was employed by Cracker Barrel in South Hill, VA where he was loved and respected by the entire staff. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed playing basketball. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David Glenn; maternal grandparents, Hubert Calvin and Amelia Elizabeth Snead; an uncle, Richard Snead, and an aunt, Patricia Ann Micro. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Curtis Glenn, Sr. (Peggy) of Petersburg, VA; mother, Diane Snead Herson (Marc) of Richmond VA; one sister, Tanya Glenn (Gary) of Chase City, VA; two brothers, Calvin Glenn (April) of Chase City, VA and Carvell Glenn of Richmond, VA; paternal grandmother, Gertrude Height; a very special friend, Shanice Booker, four aunts, six uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Franklin Glenn, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at St. Louis Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House, VA with Rev. Henry L. Fleshman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
