Corine Elena Parrish

Miss Corine Elena Parrish, 68, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA.   Mrs. Parrish was born in Mecklenburg County, VA August 21, 1938 to the late Herbert L. and Jennie Hayes Parrish. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Parrish and Willie Parrish; three sisters, Mamie P. Smith, Louise Simmons and Odessa Leggins.   Cherishing her memories is her God-daughter, Jazmyn Jackson of Clarksville, VA; two brothers, George Parrish and Joe Parrish both of New Jersey; three sisters, Gladys Parrish of South Hill, VA, Clara Hayes of New York and Alma Taylor (Marvin) of Clarksville, VA; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.   Graveside funeral services for Miss Corine Elena Parrish will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 22, 2006 at Williams Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Chase city, VA with Dr. Frank Harrison, officiating. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 216 Fourth Street, Clarksville, VA .
