Conrad Iii Elam

Mr. Conrad Elam III, 59, affectionately known as “BooBoo”, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Friday, October 16, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Elam was born in Charlotte County, VA on November 12, 1955 to the late Conrad and Elizabeth Goode Elam. He attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and was formerly employed by Jones Construction, Burlington Industries and Carlisle Motion Control. Mr. Elam was a veteran of the United States Army. Cherishing his memories are his siblings, Yvonne Elam-Ford (Gregory) of Baltimore, MD, Sandra White (Earnest) of Skipwith, VA, Barbara Elam of Deland, FL, Edward Elam, Michael Elam, Frances Elam and Jacqueline Elam all of Chase City, VA; one step-sister, Jacqueline Jeffers of Clarksville, VA; three aunts, Elna Bacon of Chase City, VA, Ezie Elam of Saxe, VA and Helen Pulliam (Charles) of Ft. Mitchell, VA; one uncle, Harrison Goode (Deborah) of Union, NJ,  and a vast number of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Conrad Elam III will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Friday, October 23, 2015 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Chester Terry, eulogist. Interment will be private. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
