Ms. Claudette Short Robinson, 55, of Arlington, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Capital Hospice, Arlington, VA.Ms. Robinson was born in Oxford, NC July 9, 1952, one of 12 children born to the late Andrew and Cora Mae Finley Short. She attended Toler High School in Oxford, NC and was a member of Wharton Memorial Baptist Church, Nelson, VA. Ms. Robinson was employed by Arlington County for 26 years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel O. Robinson.Cherishing her memories are two sons, Marshall of Montclair, NJ, Jermaine of Arlington, VA; one daughter, Debbie Puryear of Arlington, VA; two step-children, Daniel Robinson Jr. and Rosezetta Dunn; two grandchildren, Destinee and Marshall Jr.; three brothers, Eddie Short of Arlington, VA, Donald Short of Manassas, VA and Ralph Short of Nelson, VA; two sisters, Claudine Short of Bullock, NC and Jeanette Short of Durham, NC; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Short of Manassas and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Ms. Claudette Short Robinson will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday, Dec. 10, 2007 at Wharton Memorial Baptist Church, Nelson, VA with Rev. James A. Hudson Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Wharton Memorial Garden, Nelson, VA. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 until 8 P.M. at C.H. Harris Funeral Home.Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 216 Fourth Street, Clarksville, VA.
