Miss Clarica A. Townes, 58, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Retreat Doctor’s Hospital, Richmond, VA. Miss Townes was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on April 11, 1958 to the late Dorothy “Dolly” Ann Smith and Samuel G. Townes. She received her education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools and was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA. Miss Townes was formerly employed by Russell Stover Candies for 10 years and Burlington Industries for 14 years. Cherishing her memories are one son, Anthony Kashawn Townes, Sr. of Buffalo Junction, VA; twelve grandchildren, Aniyah, Anthony, Jr., Kazarie, Jazarioana, Ty’Juan, Alatasia, Nayla, Ty’Yahna, Amidiyah, Ty’Rhieanna, Elijah and Ty’javeon; three nieces, Erica, Stephanie and Antoinette; special friends, Samantha Terry, Stacy Rawlings, James Boyd and Deborah Terry and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
