Clarence Catoe

Mr. Clarence Catoe, 56, of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Chippenham Hospital, Richmond, VA. Mr. Catoe was born in Newark, NJ on February 4, 1966 to the late Elroy and Pauline Catoe. He was a graduate of Clifford J. Scott High School in East Orange, NJ, and received his Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Maryland. He attended Cedar Street Baptist Church of God in Richmond. Mr. Catoe was formerly employed by Virginia Credit Union in Richmond, and was a member of the Virginia Mortgage Lender Association, Credit Union Lending Association, and was a Virginia Notary Public. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, football, Martha’s Vinyard, and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Greenpeace, Inc. In addition to his parents, Mr. Catoe was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis and Tyree Glenn Catoe. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted sister, Theresa Shirden (William) of Mosley, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mr. Clarence Catoe will be conducted 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 8, 2022 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Elder Kenyatta Evans officiating. A mask is required for all services. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
