Clara H. Lee

Mrs. Clara H. Lee, 83, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at The Laurels of University Park in Richmond, VA. Mrs. Lee was born in Iredell, NC on May 6, 1939 to the late Odell and Nannie H. Holloway. She attended West End High School, and was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in Buffalo Junction. Mrs. Lee was previously employed by Craddock-Terry Shoe Factory in Chase City and Hardee’s in Clarksville. She loved to attend church and bible study, and in her spare time visit with the sick and shut-in. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee; stepdaughter, Marie Skipwith; two sisters, Oma Small and Tursey Boswell, and two brothers, John and Irvin Holloway. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter, Frances Owens (Rodney); grandchildren, Katerina Harris (Wendell, Sr.), Latasha Hargrove, Anthony Skipwith and Tyrese Skipwith; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Leonia Roberts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and caring friends. Special thanks to the caring staff of The Laurels of University Park and Fresenius Kidney Care. Graveside services for Mrs. Clara H. Lee will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Kenneth Stokes delivering the eulogy. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
