Cherelle Dominique Smith

Miss Cherelle D. Smith, 32 of South Hill, VA entered eternal rest Friday, December 15, 2023.

Miss Smith was born in South Hill, VA March 23, 1991 to Donnell Rainey and Krista Smith. She attended Park View High School and received a CNA Certificate from Lake Country Area Agency on Aging. She was baptized at Trinity Episcopal Church in South Hill, VA where she served as an Acolyte and a Rosebud choir member. She later joined Venture Grove Baptist Church in Bracey, VA and would also attend Church of God in South Hill, VA. In her spare time Cherelle enjoyed dancing, being with family, especially family gatherings. She loved helping the elderly.

Cherelle was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lenton and Mildred Smith, and paternal grandparents, Willie and Berline Rainey.

Cherelle leaves to cherish her memory her son, O’Ryan Richards of Knightdale, NC; O’Rryan’s father, Larry Richards; her parents, Donnell Rainey and Krista Smith of South Hill, VA; two sisters, Jada Smith of South Hill, VA and Keona Rainey of Lacrosse, VA; five aunts, three uncles, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
