Charles T. Pulliam, Jr.

Mr. Charles T. Pulliam, Jr., 49, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Pulliam, affectionately known as, "Man or Butter”, was born in South Boston, VA on Friday, March 30, 1973 to Adele Logan and Charles T. Pulliam, Sr. He attended Mecklenburg County public schools. Mr. Pulliam was baptized and joined Shiloh Baptist Church in August of 1988. He was previously employed with Russell Stover Candies for 13 years and Logan Transportation. His hobbies included playing basketball, laughing and having a good time, listening to music and impersonating Otis Redding. Although he was soft spoken, he had a laugh that you could hear from miles away. Mr. Pulliam was preceded in death by three sisters, Teressa Pulliam, Diane Pulliam King, and Chermir Mayfield. He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Cortez C. Pulliam, Sherrek Boyd and Jordan Pulliam; his mother, Adele Logan; father, Charles T. Pulliam, Sr.; four brothers, Timothy Pulliam (Jennifer), Toby Logan (LaTisha), Daniel Pulliam, Jr. and Shaun Logan (Torya); five sisters, Laura Davis, Shirley Pulliam, Vonetta Gayles (Sean), Monica Cole (Jeff) and Tynesha Mayfield; grandmother, Alice B. Logan; three aunts, Ernestine Simmons (Albert), who were second parents to him, Dorothy Greene (Rodney) and Shirley Pulliam; two uncles, Thomas and Larry Pulliam; devoted friends, Terrell Evans and Edgar Allen Young Jr., and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside Services for Mr. Charles T. Pulliam, Jr. will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA with Rev. Tyrone Craighead officiating. Public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A mask is required for all viewings. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
