Chad Levi Burton

Mr. Chad Levi Burton, 49, of Drakes Branch, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, May 28, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Burton was born in Charlotte County, VA July 6, 1965 to the late Harry Burton and Eunice Dailey Burton. He attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Keysville, VA. Mr. Burton was formerly employed by Mecklenburg Correctional Center and Halifax Correctional Center Unit 23 for a total of 14 years. He was also employed by Spaulding Equipment for three years. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Linda A. Burton of Drakes Branch, VA; one son, Chad L. Burton Jr. of Drakes Branch, VA; two daughters, Sabrina Davis of Chase City, VA and Ashley Burton of  Drakes Branch, VA; his mother, Eunice Burton of Drakes Branch, VA; four brothers, Corwin (Sherdine) of Clarksville, VA, Curtis and Carlton both of  Drakes Branch, VA and Rodney (Tarantula) of Antioch, TN; father and mother-in-law, Wilford and Ethel Agnew; sisters-in-law, Tammy Scott, Pam Scott and Remona McFadden; two brothers-in-law, Thomas and Clifford Agnew and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Chad Levi Burton will be conducted 12:00 Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church, 2365 Old Kings Highway, Keysville, VA with Rev. Wyatt Vaughan Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Public viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
