Carolyn M. Hutcherson

Mrs. Carolyn M. Hutcherson, 63, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at VCU/MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. Mrs. Hutcherson was born in Fort Mitchell, VA August 6, 1946 to the late Stanley and Hazel Robinson Hayes. She attended the schools of Lunenburg County, VA and was a member of Mount Mitchell Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA. Mrs. Hutcherson was a former employee of Hampco Apparel. Cherishing her memories are her husband, Henry Hutcheson Jr. of Boydton, VA; five children, Tara Hutcherson of Buffalo Junction, VA, Major Angela R. Hutcherson of Apollo Beach, Fl, Antonio Hutcherson and Marcus Hutcherson both of Boydton, VA,  and Keith L. Hutcherson of Buffalo Junction, VA; five grandchildren, one sister, Thelma Staten of New York, NY; one brother, Theodore Hayes of New York, NY; two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Her remains rest at C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA where viewing will be held Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday Oct. 4, 2009 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Hutcherson Family Cemetery, Skipwith, VA. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
