Carlos Jr. Gibson

Mr. Carlos Gibson Jr., 60 of Oakland, CA entered eternal rest Monday, Jan. 1, 2007 Mr. Gibson was born in Oakland, CA November 5, 1946 to the late Carlis and Florence Gibson. He moved to Clarksville at an early age and joined Mount Ararat Baptist Church. He received his formal education in Mecklenburg County Public School system. He was a United States Marine Veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was a retiree of Federal Express Corp. Carlos was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Gibson-Crewe. Cherishing his memories is his wife, Rosamae, four children, Tammy McGraw (Michael), Connie Wattley, and Sherry Wattley all of Oakland, CA and Terry Wattley of Portland, OR; two grandsons, Ronnie and Eric Wattley; his mother Florence T. Gibson of Parsippany, NJ; one sister, Yvonne G. Harris (Alfred) of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Mark Gibson (Delores) of Parsippany, NJ and Dardner Gibson of Grand Rapids, MI ; one brother-in-law, Wayne Crewe of Richmond, VA; four aunts, Lovella, Catherine, Ruth and Joyce; two uncles John and Alaster; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Mount Ararat Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. John H. Brown. Officiating. Arrangements are by C.H.
