Cameron Dominique Fields

Mr. Cameron Dominique Fields, 32, of Nelson, VA departed this life on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Oxford, NC. Mr. Fields was born on July 27, 1989 in Granville County NC. At an early age, he joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2 in Clarksville, VA; there he was the Chaplin of the Usher Board, member of the Trustee Board and the Sunday School Superintendent. He was a 2007 graduate of Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA. Mr. Fields was employed as a tall lift driver for Variety Wholesale in Henderson, NC. He also was a volunteer coach of the varsity football team at Bluestone; of all of his employment his favorite was driving the School Bus for Mecklenburg County Schools. Mr. Fields was preceded in death by his mother, Zeda Arndria Fields and grandmother, Joyce Harris Fields. He leaves to cherish his memories his sister, De’ja N. Fields of Nelson, VA; his grandfather, Odell L. Fields of Nelson, VA; two nephews, Demariyus Fields and Darius Trent of Nelson, VA; four great aunts, Judy H. Harris (Ben) of Oxford, NC, Gene Harris of New York, Anna M. Hargrove (Charles) of Triangle, VA and Carolyn Fields Wilkins of Dewitt, VA; four great uncles, Clarence Harris, Jr. of Henderson, NC, Robert Harris of Oxford, NC, Elmore Fields (Anna) of Hempstead, NY and Russell Venable; devoted friends, Candy and Kevin George of Clarksville, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services for Mr. Cameron Dominique Fields will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2 Cemetery, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Cornelius A. Ogburn, officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A mask is required for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by C. H Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
