Calvin Wayne Revis

Mr. Calvin Wayne Revis, 69, of Purcellville, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Revis was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on August 20, 1954 to the late Estelle R. Latiker. He attended the public schools of Mecklenburg County, and was a former heavy equipment operator. Mr. Revis enjoyed fishing, feeding cows, and spending time with good friends.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Revis was preceded in death by his daughter, Cydni Mishelle Revis; step-father, William Latiker, Jr., and a step-brother, William Marshall Latiker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Wanda Stewart Revis of Chase City, VA; three sons, Derrick Downey (Tarasha) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Calvin Revis, Jr. of South Boston, VA and Sean Butler of Leesburg, VA; two step-sons, Marcus Coles and Antonio Coles (Lanikki) both of Clarksville, VA; two daughters, LaTasha N. Revis (William) of Henderson, NC and Kianna Carter of Petersburg, VA; stepdaughter, Vashanua L. Smithson (Carnell, Jr.) of South Hill, VA; nineteen grandchildren; brother, Karl M. Revis (Shirley) of Buffalo Junction, VA; sister, Ruth Latiker of Boydton, VA, one sister-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
