Caesar Goode Jr.

Mr. Caesar Goode Jr., 66 of Fayetteville, NC and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Cape Fear- Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital, Fayetteville, NC. Mr. Goode was born in Chase City, VA March 27, 1940 to the late Caesar Sr. and Carrie Knight Goode. He was a 1957 graduate of West End High School and a member of Mount Mitchell Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA. Mr. Goode was a retiree of Great Costal Trucking Co., Richmond, VA. Cherishing his memories is one brother Melvin Curtis Goode (Ernita) of Fayetteville, NC; one niece, Tammy Wilson (Dexter) of Richmond, VA; two nephews, Curtis Troy Goode (April) of Fort Lewis, WA and Melvin Jarrell Goode of Fayetteville, NC and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Caesar Goode Jr. will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Mount Mitchell Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA with Rev. Fran Jackson, officiating and Rev. Kevin Pearson delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening at Giles-Harris Funeral Home from 6 until 8 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St. Chase City, VA.
