Brandy Ratliff Jr.

Mr. Brandy Ratliff 31, of Des Moines, IA and formerly of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, IA.  Mr. Ratliff was born in Halifax County, VA, February 14, 1977 to the late Brandy Ratliff Sr. and Alveria Townes. He received his education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools and was a member of New Saint Douglas Baptist Church, Boydton, VA.  Cherishing his memories are five children, Eboni, Tajayla, Trevell, Jahmahl Ratliff and Zakia Hatcher; his mother, Alveria Hawkins of Skipwith, VA, stepfather William Hawkins Sr. of Skipwith, VA; one sister, Tanisha Hawkins, paternal grandparents, Cleveland and Rebecca Ratliff of Boydton, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Mr. Brandy Ratliff will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 26, 2008 at New Saint Douglas Baptist Church, Boydton, VA with Rev. Chester Terry Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 216 4th street, Clarksville, VA.
