Blanche Marie Goode

Mrs. Blanch Marie Goode, 61, of Red Oak, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, Richmond, VA. Mrs. Goode was born in South Boston, VA on September 25, 1959 to the late Lawrence and Eva Lou Brooks Wilson. She attended Randolph Henry High School in Charlotte Court House, VA, and was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Red Oak. Mrs. Goode enjoyed cooking, dancing, and cookouts . In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goode was preceded in death by her husband, William Goode, and three brothers, Herbert Mosley, Josh Wilson and Howard Dailey, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Kenneth Goode (Tina) of Red Oak, VA, Wiliam Goode (Tweety) of Martinsville, VA and Maurice Goode of Richmond, VA; daughter, Marie Peebles (Jay) of Richmond, VA; seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; five brothers, Harvey Wilson (Marie) and Acre Wilson (Janet) both of Drakes Branch, VA, Lynn Wilson (Karen) and Randy Wilson (Shavon) of Saxe, VA and Benjamin Dailey (Tyquawsha) of Clarksville, VA; sister, Della Reese Neblett (Leonard) of Keysville, VA; three aunts, Sarah Johnson, Sudie Mosley and Betty Mosley; six sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Rev. Phillip Staten officiating. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
