Bishop William B. Scott

Bishop William B. Scott, 53 of Montross, VA and formerly of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, Dec 5, 2005 at his residence. Bishop Scott was the pastor of Little Zion Baptist Church in Oak Grove, VA. He was a very dedicated leader, educator and music teacher. Cherishing his memories are his parents, George and Julia Scott of Bullock, NC; one sister Barbara Thorton (Robin) of Oxford, NC; one brother, Randolph Scott of Bullock, NC; four aunts, Dorothy Burwell and Alice Royster both of Bullock, NC, Drucille Scott of Townsville, NC and Deloris Brummell of Clarksville, VA; one niece Bianca Maitland of Oxford, NC and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Bishop William B. Scott will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2006 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2 Clarksville, VA with Elder Freddie Burwell delivering the eulogy and Rev. Cornelius Ogburn, assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 216 4th Street, Clarksville, VA.
