Beverly Ann Dixon Johnson

Mrs. Beverly Ann Dixon Johnson, 84, of Skipwith, VA died on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Johnson was born on the 7th of April 1939 in Evansville/Vandergburgh, Indiana, the daughter of the late Gilbert M. and Ethel Ruby Dixon. Upon graduating from high school, she joined the U.S. Navy in 1958. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Clarksville. While she was a dedicated homemaker to her five children, she also obtained a private investigator degree, and worked towards an art degree. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hamilton Johnson, Sr.; two sons, Jerry Hamilton Johnson, Jr. and Christopher T. Johnson, two sisters, Sandra Jean and Theresa C. Michell, and her niece, Magan.

She was survived by sisters, Vivian Lee Troutman of Sacramento, CA, Phyllis A. Dixon of Skipwith, VA, and Maria E. Smith of Evansville, IN; three children, Sabrina L. Newton of Gray Court, SC, Athena R. Jimmerson of Clarksville, VA, and Eric Q. and wife Juanita Johnson of Skipwith, VA; thirteen grandchildren, Gabriella, Carmen, Kelley, Jessie, Jodie, Nico, Ashley, Brittany, Chance, Starr, Raven, Serenity, and Casey; ten great-grandchildren, Kalifornia, Jackson, Ethan, Collin, Aiden, Merrick, Paris, Dakota, Lilith and Jesse, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral Mass for Mrs. Beverly Ann Dixon Johnson will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 30, 2023 at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Clarksville, VA. Interment will follow in Bluestone Independent Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, VA.
