Betty Jean Logan

Miss Betty Jean Logan, 61, of Boydton, VA entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her residence. Miss Logan was born in Mecklenburg County, VA July 11, 1960 to the late Walter Lee Logan, Sr. and Alice B. Evans Logan. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. She was an employee of A Loving Heart, LLC. Her leisure activities included dancing to her favorite music, enjoying bingo, sweepstakes games, softball and playtime with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her father, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley A. Logan; two brothers, Walter Logan, Jr. and James Logan and her granddaughter, Nevaeh Lewis. Cherishing her memories are her daughters, Monica Cole (Jeffery) of Boydton, VA, Shantelle Hayes (Ryan) of Chase City, VA and Brittany Lewis (Ricky) of Lacrosse, VA; nine grandchildren; mother, Alice Logan of Boydton, VA; sisters, Ernestine Simmons (Albert), Adele Logan and Dorothy Greene (Rodney) and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside Services for Miss Betty Jean Logan will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA with Elder Alvin C. Hayes delivering the eulogy. Viewing will be private. A mask is required for services. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
