Betty Crawley

Miss Betty Crawley, 78, of Keysville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA. Miss Crawley was born in Charlotte County October 10, 1942 to the late Silas and Jannie Clark Crawley. She attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and was a member of First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA. She was a previous employee of Red Barn, Keysville, VA. In addition to her parents, Miss Crawley was preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Watson, Georgia Crawley and Rosa Roberts; her brother, Andrew Crawley and her lifetime companion, Roy L. Carrington. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her daughter, Eunice Mayo of Roanoke, VA; two sisters, Frances C. Tyler and Janie Crawley both of Keysville, VA, her First Baptist Church Family, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A funeral service for Miss Betty Crawley will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, July, 20, 2021 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Opie Terrell, officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held Monday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA.
