Betty Ann Green

Mrs. Betty Ann Green, 75, of South Boston, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Clarksville Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Green was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on May 20, 1949 to the late Clifton Marrow and Hattie Bell Terry. She attended West End High School and was a member of Amazing Bibleway Church in Buffalo Junction, VA. Mrs. Green was previously employed by Aarons Creek Farms and in her spare time enjoyed crocheting, fishing, babysitting and reading the bible.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Garner and Marble Moore, and two brothers, Clifton Marrow, Jr. and Carl Marrow, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, James Green of South Boston, VA; sons, Alfred P. Coleman (Lois) of Rougemont, NC, Dennis J. Coleman (Stephanie) of Henderson, NC and stepson, Amar J. Green of South Boston, VA; daughter, Cynthia L. Ward (Steven) of Nelson, VA; eleven grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry R. Marrow (Nora) of Clarksville, VA and James E. Marrow (Darlene) of Nelson, VA; two sisters, Easther Ireland (Clyde) of Buffalo Junction, VA and Lillie A. Hilliard of Clarksville, VA, sister-in-law, Rebecca Marrow; brothers-in-law, Willie Green and Rev. Larry Green, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A memorial service for Mrs. Betty Ann Green will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Larry Green officiating.
