Mr. Benjamin Edward Giles, Jr., 23, of Norwich, CT entered eternal rest on Monday, August 30, 2021 in Chicago, IL. Mr. Giles was born in Livingston, NJ on June 4, 1998 to Kisha M. Holcomb and Benjamin E. Giles, Sr. In his youth, Mr. Giles attended Greater Union Baptist Church. He was a salesman who in his spare time enjoyed football, basketball and rap music. Mr. Giles was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin E. Giles, II; paternal grandmother, Gladys Giles; maternal grandmother, Patricia Hutchins and paternal grandfather, Fred Reed. He leaves to cherish is memory his parents, Benjamin E. Giles, Sr. of Clarksville, VA and Kisha M. Holcomb of Norwich, CT; two brothers, Melvin Holcomb of Norwich, CT and Shakur Holcomb of Salisbury, MD; a sister, Kymirah C. Giles of Clarksville, VA, his maternal grandfather, Hurve Holcomb of New York, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services with limited seating for Mr. Benjamin Edward Giles, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 19, 2021 in the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Dr. Mark Williams officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing will begin on Sunday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. A mask will be required for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
