Ben Clark

Mr. Ben Clark 72, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Saturday April 6, 2013 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mr. Clark was born in Mecklenburg County, VA June 25, 1940 to the late Bernard Clark and Bessie Stellaway Clark. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a former employee of Burlington Industries. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Sarah Lee Clark; five children, Martha Menjibar, South Hill, VA , Cherie Crawley of Union Level, VA Bessie Clark of Baskerville, VA, Sarah Clark of South Chesterfield, VA and Bobby Winkler of Richmond, VA; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Juanita Jones of Chase City, VA, Sylvia McFail of Baltimore, MD and Priscillia McFail of Chase City, VA; eight brothers, Earl Pettus of Baltimore, MD, Earnest McFail  of South Hill, VA,  Tyrone Mc Fail (Mary), Sandy McFail (Delores),  Edward McFail (Hester),Otis Studivant, John Studivant,  and Harold Clark all of Chase City, VA; devoted friend Annie Pulliam and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Ben Clark will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2013 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
