Barbara Ann Terry

Miss Barbara Ann Terry, 60, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Friday, October 16, 2020 at her residence. Miss Terry was born in Mecklenburg County, VA September 6, 1960 to the late Overstreet and Susie Burwell Terry. She was a 1978 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and a member of Saint Matthew Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA. She was employed by AARCO Inc. of South Boston, VA until her decline in health. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, puzzles, games and dancing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty J. Terry. Cherishing her memories are three daughters, Donisha Terry of Midlothian, VA, Stephanie Terry of South Hill, VA and Nina Terry of Chase City, VA; three grandchildren; one sister, Daisey Terry of Clarksville, VA; three brothers, Thomas Terry (Erika) of Radcliff, KY, Lawrence and James Terry both of Clarksville, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, October 23, 2020 at Saint Matthew Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Michael Jackson officiating. Per the family’s request, there will be no public viewing. Due to Covid-19, a mask will be required for the service, and we ask that you practice social distancing. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
