Aundra Edmonds

Mr. Aundra Edmonds, 57, of Clarksville, VA was called home to eternal rest on April 20, 2025. Mr. Edmonds was born in South Boston, VA on January 2, 1968 to the late Algie Edmonds and Janie Hester. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School of Skipwith, VA and joined Banister Hill Baptist Church of Halifax, VA at an early age.

Andre worked for the town of Clarksville for over 10 years. He was loved by many with his unique personality, quick comebacks and known to be a jack of all trades with other side jobs and the talent of being “DJ Dr. Dre”.

In addition to his parents Aundra was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert Lewis Burns and Troy Edmonds, one niece, Janie Burns and a host of aunts and uncles.

He leaves cherish his memories his wife, Gloria Edmonds of Clarksville, VA; two sons, Demetri (Michelle) Edmonds of Norfolk, VA and Detric Little of Red Oak, VA; three step-daughters, Michelle (Vance) Armstrong of Buffalo Junction, VA, Tameka Oliver of Chase City, VA and Justine (Alicia) Williams of Lynchburg, VA; one step-son, Richard Oliver of Buffalo Junction, VA; two sisters, Deborah (Willie) Ervin and Sandral Hilliard; one brother, Michael (Betsie) Marable all of South Boston, VA; one uncle, Larry Foxx of Baltimore, MD; step-mother, Rose Edmonds of South Boston, VA; step-uncle, Joe Hester of Chase City, VA along with a host of grandchildren and step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Banister Hill Baptist Church, Halifax, VA with Rev. Dr. William Carr delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be no public viewing.
