Hundley Annex, South Hill, VA.Mr. Pettus was born in Mecklenburg County, VA March 23, 1917 to the late Richard and Mary Royster Pettus. He was a member of Greater Union Baptist Church, Chase City, VA.Cherishing his memories is his wife Mrs. Bernice Pettus of South Hill, VA. two daughters Pearl and Dorothy Pettus both of Baltimore, MD one devoted niece, Shirley Harris of Cleveland, OH and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Mr. Arthur L. Pettus will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
