Mr. Arthur Cain, 67, of Boydton entered eternal rest Monday September 29, 2014 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mr. Cain was born in Manning, South Carolina June 14, 1947 to the late Johnney Cain and Phosa Hilton Cain who survives. He attended the schools of Baltimore City, MD and was baptized at New Saint Mark Baptist Church, Baltimore, MD. Mr. Cain was the former owner of a grocery and retail store; he was last employed as a store manager for 7-Eleven. In addition to his father, Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his step-father, Elbert Davis, Sr.; a grandson, Michael Cain; a sister, Barbara Davis and a brother, Johnney Cain. Cherishing his memory are his wife, Anita Cain of Boydton, VA; three daughters, Angela Cain, Glennise Cain and Audrey Bruce, all of Baltimore, MD; three sons, Arthur Cain, Jr., Johnney Cain and Marvin Cain all of Baltimore, MD; 18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his mother, Phosa Hilton Cain of Baltimore, MD; five sisters, Gail Davis, Shirley Johnson (David) , Gloria Davis, Delores Davis and Mary Davis all of Baltimore, MD; three brothers, Elbert Davis Jr., Leroy Davis and Albert Cain all of Baltimore, MD; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Beverly and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral Services for Mr. Arthur Cain will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at New Saint Mark Baptist Church, Baltimore, MD with Minister Dorothy Johnson, officiating. Burial will take place in the Saint John Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Junction, VA. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:30 A.M. until time of service. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA. Services 11:00 A.M.
