Arthur B. King

Mr. Arthur B. King, 87, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, January 6, 2007 at his residence. Mr. King was born in Brooklyn, NY March 9, 1919 to the late Robert and Isadora Dawson King. He was a clerk typist for the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He was veteran of the United States Army. Cherishing his memories is his wife, Mrs. Blanche H. Guitano, VA; three children, Michael A. King, Anton W. Guitano (Eileen) and Glenn L Guitano (Migdalia) grandchildren, Melissa King, Shanda Guitano-Stephens, Charlena Guitano, Jessica Mascall (Michael) Jennifer Guitano and Jason Guitano; three great-grandchildren, one niece, Dr. Linda Lightfoot (John), one nephew, Judge Barry Loucke (Lily) and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Arthur B. King will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Deacon John Sadowski, officiating. Burial will follow in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
