Aroland "Sonny" Jordan, Jr.

Mr. Aroland “Sonny” Jordan, Jr., 61, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, August 9, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Jordan was born in South Hill, VA on February 15, 1958 to the late Aroland R., Sr. and Ella J. Lankford Jordan. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, VA, and attended Black Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Jordan was formerly employed by Shoppers Value, and in his spare time enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, and tinkering with machinery and vehicles. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Cigelle Kolojeski Jordan of Chase City, VA; a son, Andrew “ Mike” Jordan (Amanda) of Chase City, VA; a daughter, Pamela Jordan Duncan (Kenny) of Chase City, VA; two grandchildren, three brothers, Martin Jordan and Timothy Jordan (Sabrina) all of Chase City, VA, and Jeff Jordan (Barbara) of Tappahannock, VA; one sister, Angela Dunn (Mark) of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. The family will receive friends at the daughter’s residence at 226 Dodd Street, Chase City, VA on Friday, August 9th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday, August 10th from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
