Arnold Dean Osborne

Mr. Arnold Dean Osborne, 48, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Osborne was born February 4, 1973 to Thomas and the late Betty Walker Osborne. He attended Bluestone High School and Southside Community College and was employed by Jones Apparel Group in South Hill, VA. His favorite past times were fishing, Dog Shows, Car Shows, watching movies, playing video games and going to the racetrack. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Daisy M. Osborne; paternal grandparents, Frank and Verna Osborne; maternal grandparents, Walter Walker, Sr. and Daisy Fuller; aunt, Eula Skipwith and uncles, Bobby Walker, Jessie Walker and Abraham Walker. He leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, Leon Carpenter of Emporia, VA and Laquan Homes of Durham, NC; daughter, Chantress Williams of Durham, NC; father, Thomas Osborne of Charlotte Court House, VA; sisters, Verna Lee Osborne of Harrisonburg, VA and Brenda Henry of Norfolk, VA; brothers, Otis and Troy Osborne both of Washington, DC; aunts, Essie Brown, Betty Puryear, Peggy Spearman, Alice Burton, Annie Jefferson, Mildred Walker and Mary Smith; uncles, Walter Walker, Billy Osborne, James Osborne, and Joseph Osborne; devoted friend, Yvette Timberlake, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
