Arlene E. Butts

Mrs. Arlene E. Butts, 70 of Westfield, NJ and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, October 26, 2006. Mrs. Butts was born in Chase City, VA September 19, 1936. She was a computer assistant for the Newark Board of Education retiring in 1998. Cherishing he memories are two sons, Charles Butts Jr. and Barry Butts; four daughters, Marcelia Keene, Charlene Brown, Felicia Butts-Daniels, and Leslie Nichole Foster; 14 grandchildren, two brothers, Herman Keene and Woodrow M. Keene; six sisters, Marjorie Tisdale-Burke, Daisy Keene, Hattie Johnson, Eula Hayes, Priscilla Williams and Virginia Reid and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Arlene Butts will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. E. Douglas Reams, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA
