Arlene Baskerville Hardy

Ms. Arlene Baskerville Hardy, 69, of Chase City, VA entered eternal slumber on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at VCU/MCV Hospitals, Richmond, VA. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Baskerville and Berdie Stone Baskerville. Arlene was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 27, 1950. She was a 1968 graduate of West End High School, Skipwith, VA, and a member of Berean Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. Arlene was previously employed by Team Nurse as a home health aide. In addition to her father, Arlene was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Baskerville. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Angela Hardy and Denise Boyd (Alfred) of Chase City, VA; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her mother, Berdie Baskerville of Chase City, VA; a brother, Frank Baskerville of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Berean Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
