Ardella Bondurant

Mrs. Ardella Watts Bondurant, 95, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Chase City Nursing and Rehabilitation, Chase City, VA. Mrs. Bondurant was born April 6, 1918 in Lunenburg County, VA to the late Allen Watts and Henretta Cheatham Watts.  She received her education in the New York Public School System and was a member of The House of Prayer, Buffalo Junction, VA.  She did domestic work from the age of 12 until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bondurant, seven brothers and three sisters. Cherishing her memories are an adopted daughter, Lorraine of Iowa, Bob and Dave, whom she raised as her own, numerous nieces and nephews and her devoted church family and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Ardella Watts Bondurant will be conducted 11:00 A. M. Monday, August 12, 2013 at The House of Prayer, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Charles Davidson, officiating.
