Antoinette Gay Hargrove Lyon

Mrs. Antoinette Gay Hargrove Lyon was granted her angel wings on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.    Mrs. Lyon was born October 5, 1965, to the late Dorsey Lee and Irene Davis Hargrove.  Mrs. Lyon graduated from Bluestone Senior High School in 1984.  She attended Halifax Regional Nursing School, obtaining a License Practical Nursing degree.  She later started her career with Murdock Center in Butner, NC. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Clarksville where she served as Trustee and Deaconess. Mrs. Lyon was employed with RHA Services in Creedmoor, NC,                                         Mrs. Lyon  is survived by her husband, Thomas Lyon of Clarksville, VA; daughter, Tashom Lyon of Clarksville, VA; two sons, Tyler Lyon of Clarksville, VA and Voltaire Jones of Durham, NC; one grandson, Terence Royster of Clarksville, VA;  her mother, Irene Carter, Clarksville, VA; one sister, Gwendolyn Brooks (Tony) of Oxford, NC; god-brother Anthony Taylor, Chase City, VA; 11 aunts; 6 uncles; 1 great-aunt; 2 great-uncles; dear friends, Lawrence and Annie Kersey, of Clarksville, VA;   God-son, Sharial Mangum; father & mother-in-law, Hazel and Rosalind Lyon, Creedmoor, NC,  brother-in-law, Lamont Lyon (Stacy), Creedmoor, NC, Frederick Lyon, Wake Forest, NC; sister-in law, Shelia Moss (Ronald), Butner, NC;  and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Antoinette Gay Hargrove Lyon will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at The House of Prayer, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Marvin L. Bowman, officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery, Clarksville, VA. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA. Funeral Service 2:00 P.M.
