Annie Mosley Harris

Mrs. Annie Mosley Harris, 85, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, February 15, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Harris was born in Charlotte County, VA December 17, 1933 to the late Sam and Caroline Mosley. She attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA, and was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Red Oak, VA. Mrs. Harris was formerly employed as a sewing machine operator. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Harris, Sr., two sisters and five brothers. Cherishing her memories are four sons, Melvin Harris, Willie Harris, Jr. and Edward Lee Harris all of Red Oak, VA and William James Harris of Halifax, VA; one daughter, Elaine Harris of Chase City, VA; nine grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Mosley (Mary Ann) of Chase City, VA; four sisters, Mary Davis of Saxe, VA, Sallie Mae Bailey of Red Oak, VA, Dolly Boyd of Chase City, VA and Virginia Mosley of Richmond, VA, four sisters-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Annie Mosley Harris will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Salem Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Rev. Roger L. Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 A. M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
