Annie Mae Love

Mrs. Annie Mae Love, 83, of Boydton, VA entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Meadowview Terrace, Clarksville, VA. Mrs. Love was born in Boydton, VA March 29, 1928 to the late Andrew and Cora Davis Walker. She was a graduate of West End High School and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. She was married to the late Siddell Love. In addition to her parents and husband Siddell Love, she was preceded in death her children, James, Francine, and Joanne. Cherishing her memories are her children, Siddell Love of Chase City, VA, Patricia and Valerie Love of Brooklyn, NY; two grandchildren she raised as her own Michael and Shantia (Tee-Tee), eight grandchildren, Shantosha, Monik, Robert, Sharice, Shamika, James, Tiffany Michael; 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Susie Bell Alexander of  Newark, NJ and Ester Mae Crute (Willie) of Boydton, VA; God-daughter, Cheryl Ann Cooper, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Mae Love will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 20, 2012 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Elder Jacqueline Coleman delivering the eulogy and Rev. Tyrone Pulliam assisting. Burial will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery, Boydton, VA. Viewing for Mrs. Love will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
