Annie Dorethia Dodson

Mrs. Annie Dorethia Dodson, 86, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at Meadowview Terrace, Clarksville, VA. Mrs. Dodson was born in Philadelphia, PA August 6, 1923 to the late Luther and Jeanette Harris Young. She attended West End High School and was a member of Miller Memorial Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of the choir and various auxiliaries. Mrs. Dodson was employed by Whitman’s Chocolates for many years. Cherishing her memories are one son, Clark Dodson (Andrea) of Clarksville, VA; one sister, Mozelle Stewart of Philadelphia, PA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. In addition to her parents Mrs. Dodson was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie D. Dodson will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA with Rev. James W. Lester, officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Family Cemetery, Skipwith, VA. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by C.H.
