Annie Bell Woodson

Mrs. Annie Bell Woodson, 60, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, February 28, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Woodson was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on January 2, 1965 to the late George Robert Martin and Rozelle Simmons Watkins. She was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith and was a member of Bloom Hill Baptist Church in South Hill, VA. Mrs. Woodson was a former correctional officer.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Irvin Woodson of Boydton, VA; one stepdaughter, Contressa Woodson Taylor of Lawrence, KS; two brothers, Gary Martin of Richmond, VA and James Martin of Henrico, VA; one step-sister, Zenobia Gibson, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Bell Woodson will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Sharon Baskerville officiating. Burial will follow in Bloom Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, South Hill, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
