Annette Lorene Johnson

Ms. Annette Lorene Johnson, 45 of Clover, VA entered eternal rest Monday June 9, 2008 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Ms. Johnson was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 21, 1963 to the late Tommie and Vernice Boyd Hargrove. She received her education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools and was employed by Russell Stover Candies before her health began to fail. She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA.  Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by one brother, James (Jimmie) Allen King.  Cherishing her memories is a devoted friend, Brian Davis; one son, Terrelle M. Davis of Clover, VA; one daughter, Arielle L. Johnson of Clover, VA; one grandson, Kaleb M. Davis; two brothers, Jessie Boyd of Chase City, VA and Tommie L. Hargrove of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Shirley Douglas (Ace) and Ruby King all of Chase City, VA; five aunts, Mammie Smith of Newark, NJ, Renet Marable, Elizabeth and Ruby Boyd and the devoted Reva Hargrove (Daniel) all of Chase City, VA, many loving nieces and nephews including Stanley King (Jen), Erica and Eric King, special friends Darlene George of NY and Pam Mormon of South Boston, VA and care provider Joseph Dailey and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Ms. Annette Lorene Johnson will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris, officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery, Skipwith, VA. The family will receive friends Friday evening at Giles-Harris Funeral Home from 5 until 6 P.M.    Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
