Angela Denise Jones

Miss Angela Denise Jones, 45, of South Hill, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at VCU Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. Miss Jones was born in South Boston, VA November 22, 1976 to the late Matthew Jones, Sr. and Betty Lawrence Jones. She attended Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, dancing and enjoying the company of her children and grandchildren, traveling, fishing and photography. In addition to her father, Miss Jones was preceded in death by her son, Jordan; maternal grandparents, Arlisher and Katie Lawrence and her paternal grandparents Tom and Ida Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Jacole L. Jones, Jaquana L. Jones, Jasani L. Jones and Jakirah L. Brooks of South Hill, VA; three sons, Jeremy L. Jones, Jeffrey L. Jones and Jaydon L. Brooks all of South Hill, VA; nine grandchildren, her mother, Betty Jones of South Hill; one brother, Matthew Jones Jr. of South Hill, VA; two sisters, Betty J. Mickey (Walter) of Blackstone, VA and Paulette D. Hurt (Kelvin) of Victoria, VA; two brothers-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
